As Twitchy told you yesterday, Soledad O’Brien mocked Meghan McCain for warning about the dangers of socialism on “The View” earlier this week:
Hi @MeghanMcCain ! I have a (busy!) life—four kids, run a small business, anchor some tv shows, been an award winning journalist for a minute (not to brag ❤️). Watch you’re video. You were having a full-fledged freak out. It undermined your argument. You should work on that. https://t.co/yDUFjQ6QE3

O’Brien’s condescension was self-congratulatory and obnoxious. So it should come as no surprise that someone like Shannon Watts would get in on it:
As a white person who was born on third base, it‘s pretty infuriating to me when even more privileged white people like Meghan McCain don’t acknowledge that they born three inches from home plate.

They *were* born. But we’ll cut Shannon some slack on her grammar, because it’s not nearly as appallingly awful as her take.

So Shannon, are you insinuating that ALL white people are born on 3rd base and enjoy that privilege or are you generalizing and stereotyping?

As a white person who was not born on third base I would appreciate it if you'd get your hands out of my pocket, thank you very much.

You need to grow up. My parents worked their asses off so I could have a better life than they did. Bc they also gave me a solid work ethic I do. Why do you have to bring race into the discussion? Bc I am white does not mean I owe anyone anything and neither does Ms McCain!

Jealousy and sour grapes. How can you be negative about someone else's blessings? Megan is very talented and enjoyable to watch. Get over it.

Stop with the privilege crap. I get she was born into an advantageous situation, but the fact she is advocating for liberty shows she does care for those NOT born on third base.
