Over the weekend, actor James Woods was hospitalized after suffering a possible case of food poisoning.
Update: seems the incident was not heart related. Possibly food poisoning with sudden onset of virulent symptoms. Great care here in LV.

His recent experience with the health care system can’t help but remind him of all of the brave men and women who aren’t nearly as fortunate:
All I can think of is those poor vets getting NO treatment for months. My situation is already being handled (thank you, Twitter).

What about the people who don't have the power of their own advocacy, usurped by bureaucracy? They fall by the wayside. Tragedy.

Tragedy — and travesty. And Woods only foresees the problems getting worse, not just for veterans, but for all of us.
Right now, he is still in a good position when it comes to navigating our medical system.
And it is clear this is a top hospital with a lovely professional staff.

But as he points out, that’s likely to change:
One still must have a strong patient advocate. In one's hometown there usually are family members and often a primary care physician.

As the medical industry is gutted by ObamaCare and the medical professionals are replaced by bureaucrat/parasites, there will be disaster.

Given that I have had too much experience as a patient, I know how to get proper attention. What happens to those who will face bureaucrats?
