Earlier this week, Giorgia Meloni became the first Prime Minister of Italy … and promptly became public enemy number one for the Left. Why? Because she’s unapologetically conservative.
We’re not suggesting that she’s going to save the world or anything, particularly because we have yet to see her in action as PM. And there’s also the thing about lionizing politicians, which is generally a very bad idea. Still, we can’t help but be intrigued by what we’ve learned about her so far, particularly from her powerful speech before the World Congress on Families. She delivered it in 2019, but it was making the rounds earlier this week when she became PM.
This is Italy’s new Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
I’ve never heard any politician so perfectly explain what we’re up against and why we fight.
When you watch this video, you’ll quickly realize why the establishment is afraid of her.

The full video of Meloni’s remarks had been posted on YouTube in April 2019, so anyone interested in hearing the rest of what she had to say could check it out there.

Or … maybe not:
That’s literally all that shows up when you click the link in Ben Domenech’s tweet.
YouTube has now apparently censored and removed the incoming Italian Prime Minister's 2019 speech to the World Congress on Families. https://t.co/hjUj2Neczg

We checked an archived version of that YouTube page. The video definitely used to be there:
And now it’s gone.
Interestingly, YouTube still hosts videos of fascist Italian dictator Benito Mussolini, to whom Meloni has been stupidly likened.
Maybe YouTube will take those down when they realize that we can see their hypocrisy. Then again, maybe not. Because clearly we’re supposed to believe that a conservative woman of faith who stands for traditional family values is actually more of a threat to the “community” than freaking Mussolini.
Great job, YouTube. Bravissimo.
YouTube took down the 2019 Giorgia Meloni speech that went viral after her election, which is the thing most likely to convince people of her point.

Of course

They are proving her point brilliantly https://t.co/hhN7kNVTWP

When will they learn censorship doesn't work – it just adds credibility to the person censored.

They certainly are.
If you think she is a really a Fascist, the best way to prove that is MAKING HER VOICE MORE AVAILABLE. https://t.co/fEcl9rFsVo

Narrator: They don’t actually think she’s a fascist. They just think she’s a threat to leftist dogma. And they’re right.
