CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill has a history of praising terrorists, so we suppose it’s not terribly surprising that he hates Israel. But a lot of lefty pundits usually try to couch their anti-Israel feelings in concern for the Palestinians’ plight; not so with Hill.
Earlier today, Hill spoke at a U.N. event marking the “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.” And he took full advantage of having the U.N.’s mic to spew his bullsh*t:
@marclamonthill speaking from the perspective of civil society, highlights the irony of the 70th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights and the unattained Rights of the Palestinian People. #Rights4Palestine #Palestineday watch now @UNWebTV @UNISPAL pic.twitter.com/I4qq1BwXNq

International Day of #Solidarity with the Palestinian People: @marclamonthill address @UN Trusteeship Council, outlines Israeli practices that routinely violate full array of Palestinian #humanrights, notes irony of celebrating #UDHR at 70 while continued impunity. Man @marclamonthill's eloquent solidarity and uncompromising frankness about the situation in Historic Palestine makes me proud to be in the struggle with him and more certain that we will win. #Rights4Palestine @unispal

As the Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein reports, Hill’s statement was anything but powerful and moving:
CNN commentator calls for elimination of Israel, endorses violent Palestinian ‘resistance’ https://t.co/J2j98t48G8
— Philip Klein (@philipaklein) November 28, 2018
From from Klein:
“Tactics otherwise divergent from Dr. King or Gandhi were equally important to preserving safety and attaining freedom,” he said, according to an account in Arutz Sheva. “If we are in true solidarity, we must allow them the same range of opportunity and political possibility. We must recognize the right of an occupied people to defend themselves. We must prioritize peace, but we must not romanticize or fetishize it. We must promote non violence at every opportunity, but cannot endorse narrow politics that shames Palestinians for resisting, for refusing to do nothing in ethnic cleansing.”
“Justice requires a Free Palestine from the river to the sea,” Hill thunderously concluded.
The phrase “from the river to the sea” has been a rallying cry for Hamas and other terrorist groups seeking the elimination of Israel, as a Palestinian state stretching from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea would mean that Israel would be wiped off the map.
We’ll give Hill this much: He’s full-on embracing his reputation as an anti-Israel, anti-Semitic garbage person.
@marclamonthill hey, you called for "free Palestine from the river to the sea " ?
You got one ! It is called "the state of Israel" GFY.— Shmuel Rubens (@shru777) November 28, 2018
I believe in a single secular democratic state for everyone. This is the only way that historic Palestine will be free. https://t.co/6RXO7WfwG1
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) November 28, 2018
It was very ironic to see @Palestine_UN ambassador cheerfully joining the applause for @marclamonthill who concluded his powerful speech on #PalestineDay by stressing that justice requires a free Palestine from the river to the sea. No two state solution then?
— Mahmoud Omar (@_Mahmoud) November 28, 2018
There was a great deal of two state talk today at the UN. I think my one state allusions were, at best, a minority position. https://t.co/0qLqFa1ArR
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) November 28, 2018
The only single state Hill is championing is one controlled by the people who are trying to wipe Israel and the Jews off the map.
CNN really struck gold when they nabbed Hill.
. @CNN website describes its commentator Marc Lamont Hill as "one of the leading intellectual voices in the country." He just called for destroying Israel "from the river to the sea" and endorsed violence against Jews https://t.co/J2j98t48G8 https://t.co/LAtHcUMoEB
— Philip Klein (@philipaklein) November 28, 2018

Update:
More thoughts from Seth Mandel:
Looks like he confirms he called for the destruction of Israel. Looking forward to the hangwringing at the NYT, a Voxsplainer, and all the pieces about how CNN incubates rabid anti-Semitism. pic.twitter.com/D2NqDcyrdo

Normally we deal with dog whistles, but Marc Lamont Hill finally just goes full Farrakhan

Haaretz's defense of Marc Lamont Hill's explicit call for Jewish genocide is going to be bonkerooskies
— Seth Mandel (@SethAMandel) November 28, 2018
Pay veeeeery close attention to which writers and which publications call out Marc Lamont Hill's plea for another Jewish genocide. Something to keep track of.
— Seth Mandel (@SethAMandel) November 28, 2018
Something tells us they won’t all be lining up to condemn him at once.
