When your audience is simple-minded it doesn't take much.
The replies did the rest of the work for me. One person said it looked like a scene from The Boys. Another decided the problem was a speech delivered in front of a flag and a seal, which is apparently the new dictionary definition of fascism. A third informed the timeline that nobody was talking about Biden, so noticing the meltdown must itself be the crime.
I watched the setup. Cadets. A podium. The seal. An American flag. A cabinet secretary talking to the people we train to fly combat aircraft. That is the scandal. Not a policy. Not a threat. The aesthetics of a military academy doing military-academy things, filmed by the department that used to be called Defense and is now called War because somebody finally got tired of the euphemism.
And here is the part that made me laugh out loud and scare the corgs. The seal these accounts are treating like a secret authoritarian rebrand is the one Harry Truman signed off on in 1947 for the National Military Establishment.

It has been sitting on podiums since before most of the people quote-posting it were born. If that backdrop is a mistake, it is a bipartisan, 79-year-old mistake, and Dwight Eisenhower was in on it. This is the whole bit now. A lefty history channel sees the United States acting like it has a military, posts the double take, and the timeline rushes in to confirm that flags plus a seal equal the fall of the republic. The cadets, meanwhile, are still at the Academy, which is the part nobody in that thread seemed interested in.
