He wouldn’t have run in 2020 if he didn’t believe it. South Bend re-elected him with 80 percent after he came out. People he meets on the road care about their lives, not his categories. Also, Trump’s economy is hurting Americans, so please notice him for 2028 while pretending this is not a campaign stop.

The same party that spent years insisting identity is everything suddenly wants credit for discovering voters care about grocery bills. Harris treated Buttigieg’s sexuality like a campaign liability. Now he’s out there insisting the country was ready all along. Both things cannot be true unless the “risk” was never the voters and always the consultants.
Buttigieg wants it both ways: the historic first and the guy who transcends identity. Harris already told on the whole operation. She thought America couldn’t handle the combo. He thinks America can handle him at the top of the ticket. One of them is selling a story. The other one wrote it down in a book.
Voters will decide which version they believe.
