Man, oh man. Ever since Trump decided to pull troops out of Syria many Democrats have been front and center lecturing the administration on why this is a mistake.
Take Senator Chris Murphy for example:
The Syria catastrophe is also a consequence of the colossal mistake of withdrawing from the Iran deal.
All of the Administration’s focus has been on managing the Iran crisis they created, instead of working a political solution in northeast Syria (which was achievable).

Withdrawing from the Iran deal. Huh.
He continued.
Spare me the nonsense on sanctions.
People are being slaughtered RIGHT NOW.
Bombs are dropping on children RIGHT NOW.
Instead of drafting sanctions bills, Republicans should use their massive leverage over the President to get him to change course. RIGHT NOW.
— Chris Murphy (@ChrisMurphyCT) October 14, 2019
Change course how? By leaving troops?
But back in January of 2018 Chris was spewing something sorta different about Syria …
There is ZERO legal authorization to stay in Syria to fight Iran. If Administration gets away with this, there is no going back – executive branch war making power becomes absolute. https://t.co/xBWLuTmaMN

So which is it, Chris? Or is this just another example of Democrats disagreeing with whatever Trump says or does?
Imagine that, a politician being a partisan hack.
Gosh, we’re super shocked and stuff.
You were saying?

Man, those old tweets are so inconvenient, especially when the only thing you really stand for is disagreeing with the president no matter what.
