When all you have to run on is identity politics you’ve already lost.
Which the account Bipartisan Report learned the hard way with this ‘Vote as if’ tweet which they clearly meant to support the Left on this #ElectionDay:
Vote as if:
– Your skin is not white
– Your parents need medical care.
– Your spouse is an immigrant.
– Your son is transgender.
– Your brother is gayVote as though your life depends on it. #ElectionDay pic.twitter.com/1RG6RCYH5f

Huh?
How about Vote as if you want to shrink the government and keep more of your own money?
That works for us.
I would if I was old enough— I’d be voting for @RonDeSantisFL and @ScottforFlorida

So, vote Republican then. got it

I’m voting as if my country depends on it ? a country that is blessed with so many wonderful freedoms – the freedom to be whatever one chooses w/out fear of harm, the freedom to improve one’s lot, freedom to worship, freedom of speech, etc. #IvotedRed #VoteRedToSaveAmerica

In other words, vote Republican!

Got it, straight red across the board.

None of those apply to me, but thanks for the reminder. Straight GOP it is!

Now we could be wrong, and Bipartisan Report could have meant their tweet to promote in a bipartisan fashion BUT we’re pretty sure this wasn’t the way they wanted their edgy, deep, and meaningful tweet to go.
Which makes it even funnier.
