Don Lemon interviewed Michael Avenatti last night.
We know, you’re as shocked as we are that CNN had him on another one of their shows, and usually we just change the channel (because if we’re on CNN it was a mistake in the first place) BUT last night we thought he might talk about threatening to sue Peter Hasson and Jon Gabriel Simonson …
And he did, sorta.
.@donlemon asks @MichaelAvenatti about his lawsuit threat against me and @peterjhasson but doesn't ask him what we got wrong in our reporting. let's avenatti walk all over him. pathetic.

You didn’t really expect Lemon to interview Avenatti for real, did you?
nor does he ask @MichaelAvenatti's to substantiate his bizarre claim that we wrote our article on request of donald trump
— Joe Gabriel Simonson (@SaysSimonson) May 15, 2018
Of course not. That could possibly call Avenatti’s character into question and we all know CNN doesn’t want to do that.

Presses Avenatti. That’s adorable.
In fairness Don might fear he'll turn around and sue him for asking mean question.

HA HA HA HA.
Fair.

So you’re saying it was personal?

Guess not.
That's so out of character for Don Lemon ?

Right? We’re totally shocked he didn’t actually make Avenatti answer for threatening to sue The Daily Caller for reporting on him.

Because you know, he probably would have gotten upset with Lemon … Avenatti does seem a tad sensitive about any criticism sent his way.
Don’t take our word for it.
To all of those that continue to try and discount me as an "ambulance chaser" or "porn lawyer" – take note. Here is a link to some of the results I have obtained as lead counsel (over $1B). Not a single one listed is a personal injury matter. #bastahttps://t.co/fHyh0IdTCM

Take note.
He’s not a porn lawyer, he just plays one on TV.
Ha!
