As Twitchy has reported, Rep. Marsha Fudge has made a bid to be House Speaker, replacing Nancy Pelosi; although a problematic letter that surfaced Tuesday might have scuttled Fudge’s chances.

GQ’s Julia Ioffe wonders why it is that Pelosi if facing so many calls for fresh blood from many of the newest representatives while Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer aren’t.

Hmm … could it be … sexism?

Or maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with the differences between the makeup of the House and Senate?
