First, it’s pretty clear that socialist it-girl Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won’t be debating Ben Shapiro, not even for $10,000 — as Twitchy reported, she resorted to false claims of sexism and likened the offer to “catcalling,” which she would not acknowledge.
No, Shapiro isn’t running for office against Ocasio-Cortez, but she is now the national authority on democratic socialism, and if she wants to sell an entirely foreign economic system to replace capitalism in America while in Congress, yeah, we’d like to hear her put up or shut up.
When Shapiro answered the catcalling accusation, HLN anchor Carol Costello almost inexplicably butted into the conversation — we say almost, because it’s clear that the media is circling the wagons around Ocasio-Cortez the more she embarrasses herself in interviews.
