Wrong AGAIN: Joy Reid blames false alarm in Hawaii on US Pacific Command

We’re always happy to disagree with Joy Reid’s opinions, but her shaky grasp of facts really is astounding, considering she has her own show on MSNBC.

Just for example, remember last month when Reid instantly turned the derailment of an Amtrak train in Washington into an attack on the GOP tax bill and the state of the country’s infrastructure. As it turns out, it was an inaugural run on a new set of tracks and the train was going nearly 50 miles per hour over the speed limit when the derailment occurred — in other words, human error.

On Saturday, after an alert went out warning Hawaii of an impending ballistic missile strike, Reid was quick to finger United States Pacific Command. Of course, it turns out someone in Hawaii pushed the wrong button during a change of shift.

Oops.
