At a DNC fundraiser at San Francisco Jazz Center this afternoon, President Obama disappointed supporters who shouted “Executive Order” when presented with outstanding items on the Democrat agenda.

Couldn’t he at least get rid of the thing standing between him and his agenda; that is, Congress? Unfortunately to the supporters, who paid from $500 to $15,000 to attend, President Obama doesn’t have the power to nullify Congress via Executive Order. According to CBS News’ Mark Knoller, though, attendees applauded the idea that he should be able to.

It’s not the first time the president has had to disappoint an audience of fans. At a Google+ hangout in February, he confessed that he’s “not emperor of the United States.”  He also straightened out a Telemundo anchor in January, telling Jose Diaz-Balart, “I’m not a king.”
