NBC News: There Was No Medical Oxygen or Mask in Tennessee’s Execution Chamber

Editor's note: This post was scheduled to be published on Saturday afternoon but mistakenly wasn't. Our apologies for any broken links you might have gotten.

Murderer Christa Pike is reportedly intubated and on a ventilator after a botched execution by a girl-boss team in Tennessee earlier this week. Before you judge her too harshly, keep in mind that she told the Department of Corrections to donate the $20 for her last meal to buy pizza for the homeless. Gavin Newsom has spent $24 billion on the homeless in California with zero results — he should have taken tips from Pike on how to solve the homeless crisis.

TMZ, which brought us the story on the pizza, also posted that Pike felt extreme pain during her botched execution, or at least that's what experts say. Most reports said she was out snoring after the second lethal dose.

Now that the death row inmate is being given life-sustaining support, NBC News is reporting that the execution chamber didn't even have medical oxygen or a mask.
