Back in July, TMZ reported that the family of Nolan Wells, an 18-year-old black man who was found dead "under mysterious circumstances" after a boating trip with three white friends, had hired race-baiting attorney Benjamin Crump to investigate his death. (Al Sharpton also showed up, noting how odd it was that the white boys had all made it home safely after dropping Wells off on Horn Island, a small island about 10 miles off the Mississippi coast, where a Fourth of July party was going on.
As Twitchy reported on Tuesday, a grand jury, after hearing testimony from 43 witnesses, found zero evidence indicating foul play in Wells' death, which had all the signs of an accidental drowning. In a press conference, Crump tripled down, saying that "common sense" indicated that the grand jury had gotten it wrong. As this editor wrote in a VIP piece on Wednesday, Rep. Frederica Brown had met with Wells' parents last week at a forum, where the participants would "honor them and other parents of murdered young boys."
"Educator" and YouTube star Ms. Rachel, who had recently posted a video in frustration about all of the black lynchings going on, posted that "black boys deserve to grow up" and that "I won't ever stop saying his name."
