CNN, MS NOW and POLITICO Join Forces to Sue Trump and Their Statement Only Makes Things WORSE

CNN, MS NOW, and Politico just rolled out the solemn press-freedom routine after the White House yanked their credentials, framing a weekend lockout as a constitutional emergency and announcing they are suing to get back inside.

Break out the tissues because you may start crying from laughing so hard. 

The pitch is that the government objected to their coverage and therefore tried to decide what the press can publish. That is a tidy story, until you remember these same shops spent years treating White House access like a privilege they were happy to see stripped from outlets they disliked, and that nobody is stopping them from reporting from across the street. 

The lawsuit is real. 

The sudden conversion to free-speech maximalism is the part that has all of X doing a spit take.

Boo hoo.

Remember when CNN called themselves a banana? Or was it an apple? Gosh, we can't remember which tells us that entire marketing push was a complete failure.

It's pretty simple when you think about it. They're not really the press anymore, they're activists.
