President Donald Trump has revoked White House press privileges from all the ‘journalists’ at Politico, CNN, and MSNOW. As expected, this is sending ‘journalists’ and their fellow Democrats into histrionic fits about 'freedom of the press.' Trump is tired of these ‘news’ outlets printing lie after lie about him. All this self-important shrieking has naturally summoned activist podcaster Jim Acosta from the depths of his Substack irrelevance. Despite returning to the spotlight, Acosta’s relevance remains at zero.
But don’t try convincing him. (WATCH)
Jim Acosta is all over television with this press ban story.

He's loving every minute of it, because it gives him ample opportunity to talk about his favorite subject:
Jim Acosta. pic.twitter.com/xYma3YTS3F
And thus he demonstrates what really motivates the narcissistic theatre kids we call "the media".

That smugness is so undeserved.
Posters worry that this whole White House situation will keep Acosta from stories only he can bring to the public.
Wait doesn't he have breaking news from the reflecting pools or The Kennedy Center to cover. What an outrage 😠

Come home, Jim. The pool misses its scum.
It’s been more than five years since Acosta was last in the White House. He wants those still with privileged access to stage a walkout and refuse to cover Trump’s presidency.
🚨 NEW: Jim Acosta is FURIOUS at President Trump’s plan to ban CNN and MS Now from the White House: “The press should band together and not cover the White House. Don’t go to the White House.”
— TV News Now (@TVNewsNow) September 19, 2026
“Do not operate a pool anymore. Just stop. Tell them this weekend there will be no… pic.twitter.com/EmnNiXwdH5
(post continues) ...pool when he goes to the UN General Assembly on Monday.”
“In addition, it should be told to the White House that there will be no White House Correspondents' Dinner. What in the world are the press doing, having a dinner with Donald Trump when he’s going after the free press in this fashion!” adds @Acosta.

Okay Jimmy Boy, I fail to see how is that a threat?

Acosta wants the ‘independent press’ to unite against Trump. That’s not very ‘independent’ of them if they do. Still, let them boycott; no one will care.
Trump is easily the most media-accessible President ever. No doubt ‘journalists’ long for the days when Biden was a daily no-show. Of course, when he did a rare press conference, it was staged with preselected ‘journos’ and vetted questions.
So dramatic. Maybe @WhiteHouse can have as many press conferences as @JoeBiden had. That should please @Acosta @grok what was the longest period during Joe Biden's presidency without a press conference?
— Gerardo (@gerardo_001) September 19, 2026
The longest stretch without a formal solo press conference under Biden was from Nov. 15, 2023 (after the APEC summit) to July 11, 2024—about 8 months or 239 days. He held just 15 solo ones total across four years.

Never forget the fake news media played along with Joe Biden’s pre-scripted, pre-selected press conferences.

They handed him a cheat sheet with the names, the faces, and the answers already written on it.
Now, those same hack reporters want you to believe that President Trump… pic.twitter.com/Y7biAVIban
(post continues) ...kicking CNN, MSNOW and Politico out is somehow an attack on free speech, the free press and Democracy. They failed in their duty as reporters when they carried and covered up Joe Biden's the whole time. Then they ran 98% negative stories on President Trump.
We the people don't have an ounce of sympathy for them.
It’s almost as if ‘freedom of the press’ didn’t matter because they were covering (and covering up for) a president they all voted into office.
Back to Acosta’s boycott suggestion, he has many supporters for it on both sides of the political aisle but for different reasons. MAGA knows this only hurts ‘journalists,’ not helps them.
That would all be perfect. Acosta will soon find out that the major networks don't have a monopoly on the news.

😂 this would last for MAYBE one day.
— TidyBowl Man65 (@Tidybowlman65) September 19, 2026
I hope they do it. All of MSM. The independents will stay. And CSPAN which just film's the entire thing.
— HereToday (@HereToday581533) September 19, 2026
Acosta is proving you can even report on the White House from your basement.
— Not a Bot (@RichRiff) September 19, 2026
It’s where many of these self-important ‘journalists’ are going to wind up.
Of course, some think Acosta should be rehired by his former network. Why not? They’ve already destroyed any credibility they ever had. What's one more politically-driven, lying hack?
.@Acosta should be brought back to @CNN while at the same time being allowed to keep his Jim Acosta Show on Substack. This is how @cnn should fight back, it would be a knockout punch in politics

Trump has diversified the press pool by giving access to a broader range of journalists - podcasters, etc.- not by shutting it down.
— H. Herschell (@soriguana) September 19, 2026
The Old Boys Club wants their monopoly back. The public has already voted. pic.twitter.com/pm9s32agiy
Acosta could probably come back to White House without being rehired by CNN. If he did, it would be because mean old Trump expanded access for podcasters and non-traditional media at the White House, something the press-freedom-loving ‘journalists’ in the WHCA opposed. Wait, they’re the ones who fought to limit access to the White House; imagine that!
