NBC10 Boston commentator Sue O’Connell is suddenly very interested in the fine print. After her network ran a story digging into the unnamed holdout in the Lindsay Clancy trial — dismissed domestic-violence allegations, a family restraining order, unpaid rent, the works — critics say that package put a target on the one juror who would not acquit a mother who strangled her three kids.

O’Connell’s response is not to defend the journalism so much as to dare anyone to produce her own words naming him, violating an impoundment order, or breaking the law.
