A faith that has spent centuries telling women to cover up apparently still has opinions about which Hollywood bodies get to be seen, and Ali — practicing Muslim that he is — didn’t hesitate to deliver the verdict. Muslim men, as a rule, are not exactly known for cheering when women’s bodies are put on display for clicks and betting apps. Who knew the hijab crowd and the “sexualization of women in sports” crowd would find such common ground?
