So the 'artist' who wore a prosthetic nose to mock Jews because he just wants to 'free Palestine' finally got booted from Ed Sheeran's tour.

Macklemore has been dropped from the remainder of Ed Sheeran‘s U.S. Loop Tour after making headlines for saying “free Palestine” on stage and delivering a political speech during the Sept. 4 concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Honestly, he's probably less vile than Rage Against the Machine and less preachy than Bruce Springsteen. Good riddance. Sure there are questions of 'cancel culture' and whether his fans, on balance, support or oppose his politics, but we're personally not upset to see another strident anti-Semite see the consequences of his bigotry.

We don't know if Sheeran agrees with Macklemore, is apolitical or whatever, but the pressure did come from the concert venues.

Some fans were upset with Sheeran, as well.
