New York’s socialist mayor marked the 25th anniversary of 9/11 the way only Zohran Mamdani could: by making the day about him.

You can't even make this level of ignorant and self-centered up.

While the rest of the country remembered nearly 3,000 murdered Americans, Mamdani’s big memory of that morning is that a teacher pulled him and another Muslim student out of class in case they got picked on.

Steve Guest clipped the self-pity tour and did the public service of putting the body count next to the anecdote, because apparently that contrast does not occur to City Hall on its own.

Also note at 1:26 where Mamdani claims he was pulled aside at bankruptcy court and asked multiple times if he was carrying weapons of mass destruction. Never happened. There are screening machines in the building. That's Mamdani making himself to be the victim…
