Bush was in the seats. So were Obama and Biden. Vance was the one still in office, so she aimed the ask at him: take it back to Trump.
Whether any of them flinched on camera is almost beside the point. The crowd heard a widow talk like a prosecutor, and they treated it like the part of the morning that finally sounded true.
