Rep. Rashida Tlaib Says Antony Blinken ‘Totally Waited’ and Did Nothing to Stop the Genocide in Gaza

As we reported on Wednesday, a "bombshell" story in Haaretz claimed that in the days following October 7, Hamas offered to unconditionally surrender all of the "civilian hostages" they'd taken — all they asked was for a mediator to arrange the exchange. Then Secretary of State Antony Blinken "had the opportunity to free every single civilian hostage and de-escalate the situation," Ryan Grim of Drop Site News translated. "Instead, he wanted war."President Joe Biden's Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, replied, "For the record, this is false. Complete fiction."

On MS NOW's Morning Joe on Thursday morning, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton floated the idea that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knew an attack was coming but let it happen so he could "come down hard" on Hamas. What a relief it is to have Secretary of State Marco Rubio running the department now.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Hamas), who recently offered her assistance in Mayor Zohran Mamdani's vow to arrest Netanyahu as soon as he set foot in New York, saw Blinken's denial of the story and weighed in.

That's what she and a lot of her supporters are saying. Blinken was a warmonger whose goal was to keep the war going.
