Male Juror in Lindsay Clancy Murder Trial Slams ‘Holdout Juror’ for Refusing to Acquit Child Killer

Another juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial has revealed himself on-air. Male juror Nick Dargie voted ‘not guilty'. In his first television interview, he blasted the male ‘holdout juror’ who refused to join the 11 jurors in acquitting Clancy, who killed her three children.

ABC News speaks exclusively with another Lindsay Clancy trial juror, the *fifth* to have spoken out since the trial ended. ABC said Nick Dargie, one of the two men who sided with the nine women who voted not guilty, was “devastated” he couldn’t to set Clancy free, and SLAMMED the male holdout juror...“

There was — there was several times would ask him to show us, like, evidence or, you know, describe a witness testimony that helped to prove what he was saying. And — and he couldn’t. There wasn’t a single piece of evidence or witness testimony that he used to prove why he was thinking the way he was, which is why we ultimately sent in that note. Otherwise, like, there’s nothing wrong with somebody having a complete opposite opinion. Like, that’s — you know, that would be a hung jury. That — like, that is our justice system.”

The ‘holdout juror’ refused to accept the defense’s premise that Clancy was temporarily insane when she ended the lives of her children. Dargie is upset that the juror’s position caused a mistrial. (WATCH)

Three of the female jurors, who were recently interviewed together, appeared to have berated the ‘holdout juror'. He didn’t budge.

Commenters are not buying Dargie’s ‘no evidence’ argument.

That sounds like premeditated murder to us, not a sudden psychological break.

There’s been no shortage of bizarre statements from the jurors who have come forward to the media. Dargie’s mention of him hoping to remain friends with his fellow jurors ranks up there. (WATCH)
