Democrats are notorious for pulling the wool over voters’ eyes but fail miserably at pulling off any of their grand ideas. That’s the conclusion of podcaster Adam Carolla. He says Democrats are all talk but no positive action. For example, no one can argue against high-paying jobs. But instead of freeing up businesses to create, Democrats try to implement something destructive like raising the minimum wage.

ADAM CAROLLA: "You [Democrats] act like we’re arguing with your ideas. YOU CAN'T PULL YOUR IDEAS OFF.”
"You don't lift people out of poverty. You don't solve the homeless problem. You don't fix the environmental problem. You don't have clean, sustainable forms of energy. YOU DON'T DO ANY OF THAT STUFF. YOU TALK ABOUT IT."
ADDED CONTEXT: California spent $24,000,000,000 (that’s billion) on homelessness in five years. Despite the excessive spending, the state's own audit found Homelessness climbed 53% over the past decade to roughly 187,000 people.
High-speed rail was sold to voters in 2008 as a $33,000,000,000 bullet train from San Francisco to LA. Eighteen years later, completion sits at a whopping ZERO percent. Not a single mile of track is in service, and the state admits even the 171-mile Merced-to-Bakersfield starter segment can't be finished by the end of 2032 without more funding.
That's the Democratic Party in a nutshell. Say you want good schools, lift people out of poverty, make life better for the little guy. Then spend a whole bunch of money and get nothing done.
They say they want to end suffering for low-income communities, but somehow end up solving nothing and instead extend the suffering to everyone else.
Democrat ‘solutions’ often worsen the societal ills they are claiming to address. Carolla lists what they’ve failed to fix. (WATCH — LANGUAGE WARNING)

This is the best argument against Democrats that I have ever seen. Bottom line; they promise everything and deliver nothing.

Well, that’s not true. They deliver loads of misery.
Posters say they are some things Democrats are ‘good at.’
The Democrats are good at two things:
— Austin H (@ahoop) September 7, 2026
1. Talking about ideas.
2. Spending money.
3. Dividing people based on race, sex, and identify.

4. Bitching about Trump

Oh, they excel at that last one.
Commenters say the Democrats don’t measure success as sane people do.
The Democrats judge the success of an infrastructure program by how much money is spent (i.e. wasted) rather than actual results.
They do the same for welfare programs. Democrats judge the success of a program by how many more people they can get on welfare rather than bringing in better jobs and getting people off welfare.

Homelessness climbed 53% over the past decade in California because California PAYS people to be homeless.

I have never known many modern Democrats who ever do anything to help anyone except themselves.

Well, that's their point...

NOT solving problems keeps taxpayer money and government influence flowing.
If you solve a problem, the money dries up. Where's the fun in that?
Their whole game is to manipulate stupid people into voting for them. And it never ceases to amaze me how many stupid people there actually are.

Sadly, we have to contend with those voters every election. You can bet they’ll turn out for the midterms.
