'I Thought Football Was Slavery': Let's Check on How Abdul El-Sayed's Sports Pivot Is Going

With the midterm elections less than three months away, the socialist Democrats are doing some fast one-eighties to try and memory hole their true beliefs. In Wisconsin, former gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong went from wanting to cancel Thanksgiving to loving it, but that came too late to save her campaign.

In Michigan, DSA Democrat Abdul El-Sayed has a lot of cleaning up to do when it comes to his past posts and remarks. El-Sayed was on video saying he hated Mackinac Island, and he also said this about football:

“Folks who founded this country on the backs of native folks that they destroyed, then captured people, enslaved them and had them work their fields… you kind of see echoed in the ethos of football.”
