Scott Jennings Breaks Out Puppets and Crayons Explaining How SECURITY Works to CNN and LOL (Watch)

While liberal media outlets and online critics fretted over being left out of the loop on the high-stakes security operation that got President Trump out of Turkey last month, CNN commentator Scott Jennings cut straight through the noise with a dose of common sense.

In a clip that's making the rounds on X, he praised the cloak-and-dagger tactics used to shield the commander-in-chief from a credible Iranian assassination threat, stressing that the seriousness of the danger in that region — and Trump's history of surviving multiple attempts on his life — made the elaborate deception not just justified, but essential.

Post continues:

"Sounds like this was a very, VERY serious threat to the president's safety, and when you consider that he's already survived a numerous assassination attempts or people at least thinking about assassinating him, and you consider the region that he was in..."

"I think every time he walks outside of the White House, whether he's traveling domestically or internationally, somewhere in his mind, he must believe, you know, I don't know if I'm coming back here tonight because of what he has lived through."

"I fear for him and what might happen to him every single day."

"And you know, this story raised up the hairs on the back of my neck when you consider how they had to move him around, but I'm glad they did it, and I'm glad they got him back to the United States safely."

"I'm glad he was at the meeting over there, by the way, it was important for the American president to be there, but you can only imagine...the level of threat and the level of alarm that would have been required to set up this kind of deception must have been extremely heavy!"

Our favorite part of this video is watching David Axelrod try and keep a straight, unbiased, calm face but you know that deep down Jennings is infuriating him.

Tee hee.

Speaking of infuriating, the fact that the media are outraged that Trump didn't keep them in the loop is ridiculous. If there is a legitimate threat from Iran, why would Trump or his people tell the media about his plans? They aren't his keeper, and they don't always need to know things they don't need to know.

Boo hoo.

Get over it.

Surely they can find something else to hate on him for.
