California Gov. Gavin Newsom and his "first partner" wife, Jennifer, are under investigation by the Justice Department.
The couple has tried to turn the probe into a "Trump's weaponizing the DOJ" talking point but that recently backfired in a big way.

Gavin seems to be sensing that the walls could be soon closing in, as the Left used to like to say constantly about Trump.

Gavin gave that away when he pointed to a legitimate Senate vote to confirm a nominee while saying that's "how democracies rot." That might be how some Democrats rot, but not a democracy.
