University granted $2 million to study HIV prevention among Latina transgender women

This is one of those we didn’t believe until we clicked through and landed on the official website. Technically the study ended last September, but it existed. The grant from the Department of Health and Human Services to Wake Forest University Health Services was $2 million. The study? “HIV Prevention Among Latina Transgender Women Who Have Sex With Men: Evaluation of a Locally Developed Intervention.”
