Peter Doocy triggers Karine Jean-Pierre over small border towns being expected to take care of illegal immigrants

This is a great piece of video. As Twitchy reported, Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser declared a humanitarian crisis after buses dropped off 4,000 illegal immigrants for D.C. to absorb into its homeless shelters. Not to be outdone, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said he was dealing with more than 2,800 individuals entering New York City’s shelter system. That’s it?

Fox News’ Peter Doocy brought up Bowser’s request for the National Guard to help with the migrants, and press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre went off about how Republicans were using these migrants as a political tool. So Doocy followed up by assuming that the Biden administration’s policy is to leave it to small towns in Texas and Arizona to deal with the massive surge in illegal immigrants. “That’s not what I said,” protested Jean-Pierre.

If CNN’s Jim Acosta were still a White House correspondent, he’d be standing up and reciting “The New Colossus” with a single tear running down his cheek.

Letting small border towns in Texas and Arizona handle a record number of illegal immigrants is exactly what the Biden administration has been doing. Maybe Vice President Kamala Harris or Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will pay a visit some day to see for themselves.
