Not forgotten: #Benghazi tweetfest draws attention back to 'phony scandal'

President Obama may have tried to put all of those “phony scandals” behind him with yet another pivot to jobs and the economy, but the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya isn’t going away just yet. Tomorrow, members of a House Armed Services subcommittee will hear from Col. George Bristol, who commanded a task force that operated in Northern and Western Africa and is retiring from active duty on Thursday.

Col. Bristol’s last minute testimony will be given behind closed doors, inspiring concerned citizens on Twitter to put together a #Benghazi tweetfest Tuesday night to highlight the event.
