'Absolutely not': Whistleblower's attorney tells Jake Tapper Adam Schiff didn't help with the complaint

According to the New York Times, House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff got an early warning of the whistleblower’s complaint before it was even filed, which led many to assume that Schiff might have had a hand in writing the official complaint — including President Trump, who told reporters, “It’s a scandal that he knew before. I’d go a step further, I think he probably helped write it. That’s what the word is.”

The whistleblower’s lawyer, Mark Zaid, was on CNN with Jake Tapper, who called the president’s response an “evidence-free allegation.”

Tapper doesn’t seem to be buying into any of Trump’s claims at all:
