Celtics won't back down, win gritty Game 3

And you thought the series was over after just two games.

Tisk, tisk.

The Boston Celtics finally showed a pulse (and their upper body strength in Kevin Garnett’s case) in the Eastern Conference Finals, beating the Miami Heat 101-91 on Friday night.

Many, if not all, had written the C’s off entirely after two straight losses to open the series in Miami. You were probably one of them.

Yes, you.

A Garnett and Rajon Rondo-backed squad came out firing and held a 22-point lead entering the fourth quarter. Boston looked like an entirely different team.

Oh, and the disparity in personal fouls between the Heat and Celtics in Games 1 and 2 that had the nation in an uproar? A thing of the past. Both teams finished with 24 on Friday.

Funny how that worked out.
