Tulsi Gabbard resigned today as Director of National Intelligence. Tulsi has served her country well. First, through military service, then as a legislator, and finally in Trump's Cabinet. She should be proud. She has shown herself to be brilliant, charming, and capable in all her positions.
She and her husband have also brought joy to the world through their precious videos singing together and generally offering a wonderful example of mutual respect and devotion in marriage.
Prayers for Tulsi and her husband Abraham who is unfortunately battling cancer. 🙏

Tulsi Gabbard worked as an aide for Hawaii’s Senator Akaka. When he passed away Tulsi and Abraham sang this beautiful song in tribute to him. It was his favorite. pic.twitter.com/PGWhYDWylA
As a woman with ambition and goals, finding the right balance between your personal life and your career can be incredibly challenging. Tulsi has shown it's possible to be both 'Family First and America First'.
. @TulsiGabbard and Abe are not just friends to Ben and me, they are family. They are the godparents to our eldest daughter Liberty.

I first met them nearly a decade ago during one of the darkest periods of my life, and after just one lunch together, I immediately fell in love…
Leaving a position in the White House is an incredibly difficult decision, but Tulsi made the right choice by putting her husband first. Her priorities are clear and commendable. We need more leaders in government with that kind of moral clarity and courage. Losing her voice in government will leave a huge void.
Nowadays, too many people, both men and women, are choosing their careers over their families. In our fast-paced, hyper-competitive world, ambition and professional success have become the ultimate measures of worth.
As a result, many are delaying marriage, postponing having kids, or even walking away from relationships the moment their career demands more. What was once seen as a tragic sacrifice is now often celebrated as 'prioritizing yourself' or 'grinding for the bag.' But this shift comes with real consequences: rising loneliness, fractured homes, and a generation that may achieve professional success only to realize too late that they traded their most meaningful relationships for promotions and prestige. That tradeoff is never worth it.

Tulsi Gabbard's husband has a very aggressive form of bone cancer, so she is resigning from her incredibly demanding position as DNI to take care of him, as any loving spouse would do.
That's it.
That's the whole story.
So how about you treat this news as…
All the healing vibes for your precious husband. I had shared Tulsi Gabbard and her husband singing a Hawaiian lullaby. I thought it was sweet that Her father, Mike Gabbard Hawaii state senator shared it saying her missed her ♥️ pic.twitter.com/ynnMufljDN

Best wishes and prayers to Gabbard and Abe. Hopefully, his cancer is treatable, the side effects are minimal and they are granted many more years together to sing, live and love.
