I am a supporter of First Responders, but I am also very aware of the amount of bad cops that exist in society. My deceased Father's best friend was a Deputy Sheriff in our town, but they'd both be the first to tell you there were crooked police that gave all law enforcement a bad name. With all that being said, the disrespect to police officers is getting very out of hand.

“They were cutting underground cables, vandalizing, throwing things at officers…"https://t.co/eit19kplTT
From attacking ICE officers to beating up on local police officers, it has all gone too far. These are men and women doing their jobs to the best of their ability. These people are not doing anything other than their jobs. They deserve to go home to their families safely at the end of their shift.

Former sports celebrities have taken to X to hurl insults at ICE officers, further eroding public trust in law enforcement. Are some officers overstepping their authority? Likely. But the root of this issue stems from the Biden Administration’s lax border policies, which have allowed an influx of migrants. Unfortunately, the consequences fall not on policymakers but on the middle-class men and women of ICE, who are simply doing their jobs to support their families and serve their country. Disagreeing with immigration enforcement is valid, and peaceful protest is a right, but verbally attacking law enforcement is unacceptable and counterproductive.

This is what a dying, low-trust society looks like. pic.twitter.com/KdLyfmLDKK
Woman attacks federal agents last night in DC and goes to jail. She should have been arrested. This was the right thing to do. And for want of holding the violent anti police crowd accountable to the law, these problems have propagated.

When society tolerates unchecked attacks on law enforcement, it risks unraveling the civility that holds us together. Respect for those who uphold the law is a fundamental part of the social contract that keeps our communities stable. While lashing out may offer fleeting satisfaction, it fosters long-term division and erodes trust in the systems that protect us all.
Imagine thinking you can attack the police and not have consequences https://t.co/6T4VaKEBp2

Unfortunately folks in the city have gotten use to no consequences for behavior. Life’s gonna be a bit$h for them as we hopefully shift back to a civilized society.

Hopefully, it's sooner rather than later.
