President Obama wrote a gag-inducing letter to a young man in California, telling Matthew about what high school basketball taught him.

@WhiteHouse Are you serious?

Yes. We think he actually is serious.

Ok, that reaction is a little outdated but under the circumstances, we’ll allow it. Considering that one Obama’s first acts as president was to help shut down the DC’s school voucher program, forcing some gifted kids into lousy public schools, his lip service to educational opportunity is laughable. So were some of the replies to the White House tweet.
@WhiteHouse so H.S.Bball taught him to ride the bench when the game is on the line? Way to inspire confidence chief! #losingfaith
