Grammy award winning musician and producer Robert Glasper voiced some opinions on the historical racial divide in the music industry. A lot of artists will tell you that the corporate fat cats rob them of their creations and exploit them to make a buck. Glasper and many others see it not as a theft of an individual’s art but a theft of an entire culture. Clearly there is a black/white divide. What do you think? Does music have a race?
Lol funny how the people who r doing the stealing from black people look at us crazy for feeling a way about it,they want harmony and peace.

RT @NickKapusta: @robertglasper you're the reason why most people see a difference between black and white. You're a disgrace.

I'm extremely open minded..u can tell by the music I make* that has nothing to do with FACTS about history and the world we live in.

@NickKapusta so the 500yrs of slavery and modern day racism don't play a part? Lol* it's all me for Acknowledging the truth?

An excellent exit question:
@robertglasper why does it have to be about race in the first place? What if we just created music and called it music without a racial tag?
