Facing a storm of criticism, Secretary of State John Kerry apologized (sort of) for warning that Israel risks becoming an apartheid state, but not before dismissing criticism as “partisan, political” attacks.
Apparently @JohnKerry didn't see @BarbaraBoxer 's comments which I doubt were being used for partisan political purposes.

Oops.
Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and any linkage between Israel and apartheid is nonsensical and ridiculous.

Inflammatory rhetoric comparing Israel’s democracy to repugnant apartheid policy is irresponsible, inaccurate & counterproductive

Alaska Senator Mark Begich was also among the Democrats issuing “partisan political attacks” against Secretary Kerry.
Why all the fuss from Democrats? Kerry's equating Israel with apartheid is standard fare on the Left http://t.co/cZIhTSdp2o

John Kerry's Israel "apartheid" statement would be completely unremarkable on any US college campus. In the real world, it's insane.
