Apparently somebody thought it would be a good idea to see what Woody Allen thought of the Harvey Weinstein situation:
WOMEN: there’s a real problem with sexual power dynamics in the Hollywood system
REPORTER: hold on, let’s hear what Woody Allen has to say— Karen Kilgariff (@KarenKilgariff) October 15, 2017
Why yes I’m interested to know what Woody Allen and other noted child rapists think of rapists being held accountable for rape.

Allen did not disappoint, saying he’s worried that Weinstein will lead to “a witch hunt atmosphere, a Salem atmosphere, where every guy in an office who winks at a woman is suddenly having to call a lawyer to defend himself”:
From the BBC. Woody Allen 'sad' for #Weinstein. Then the classic male response: let's hope this doesn't mean men have to stop sexually harassing women in the workplace. The "Witch hunt" defense. pic.twitter.com/UcL32UGLVU

He also said he’s “sad for Harvey”:
Woody Allen expressed sympathy for “the poor women that were involved” but called the situation “sad for Harvey” https://t.co/RY8wGd9Gc3

What did you expect from the guy who made a movie about himself getting it on with a high-school student?
In 1979, saw 'Manhattan' w Woody Allen's story of 40+ man's affair w 17-yr-old girl. #BadFeeling abt him then. BadFeeling now. #SpideySense

As you’d expect, this didn’t go over well:

Woody Allen fears #Weinstein's ouster (for yrs of predation) means men won't be able to "wink" at women at work anymore. Because same thing https://t.co/3VUDdN1kEu

Every time Woody Allen opens his mouth I just think wow, a toothless, sentient apple possessed by an ancient evil, that's incredible

Woody Allen would do well to shut the fuck up. Forever.

Harvey Weinstein, Woody Allen and Roman Polanski walk into a bar, they're all given Oscars and leave to a standing ovation.

Woody Allen hopes that catching one criminal doesn't lead to catching more. I feel the exact opposite. Also, you're guilty. Go away. https://t.co/dLxu6qybir

Even before these comments, Amazon knew it was going to have a problem with the guy who married his adopted daughter and cancelled the red carpet for his new show:
Amazon Cancels Red Carpet for Woody Allen’s ‘Wonder Wheel’ Premiere https://t.co/bPBQdbZ8BM
— Variety (@Variety) October 13, 2017
Actor Griffin Newman, who felt so bad having worked with Allen on that Amazon show, donated his entire salary to Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN):
I need to get this off my chest:
– I worked on Woody Allen’s next movie.
– I believe he is guilty.
– I donated my entire salary to RAINN.— Griffin Newman (@GriffLightning) October 14, 2017
