A reporter once infamously said that "journalists don't root for a side," but that has been debunked to the extreme ever since the start of Operation Epic Fury
Though the competition remains fierce, this week CNN and ABC News have distinguished themselves as top notch mouthpieces for the Iranian regime (anything to make Team Trump look bad).
Earlier this week, ABC ended up adding a correction to a story about the threat of retaliatory strikes in California from Iranian drones after a bit of shaming from Karoline Leavitt. But as usual (and as is often intended) the damage was done:
Thank you to ABC News for issuing a correction to this story.
— Karoline Leavitt (@PressSec) March 13, 2026
The problem? Their original, misleading story received 10M views and panicked people across the country.
The correction only has 100K views.
Fake News is real and it is dangerous.
The Trump White House is… https://t.co/LLffikNaae
These "journalists" know exactly what they're doing.
Yesterday I ran across another related item from ABC News, an outlet that seems determined to get an invitation from the regime to go "report" from inside Iran just like CNN:
Even as Iran has been "pummeled" by Israeli and American air strikes, with its military capabilities greatly diminished, Tehran continues to demonstrate resolve, both in adapting and expanding its military tactics, observers told ABC News. https://t.co/tyADGARfir

Did the Iranian foreign minister write that?
Just put an Iranian flag in your bio already lmao https://t.co/2fdFAqVWyJ

They might as well, along with several other media outlets.
Bagdad Bob had NOTHING on your folks. Did you hire one of his proteges?

You might as well just copy and paste the IRGC’s press release if you are this committed to being a regime mouthpiece. https://t.co/aUxn7S8EhC

The Iranian Propaganda coming from American media is unreal https://t.co/mPp34OQuEg

We likely haven't seen anything yet.
What would an ABC headline during ww2 say? Hitler shows resolve?
— Trixi Qui (@chicatrixy) March 14, 2026
"Germany shows resolve despite relentless allied bombing campaign."
"Joining us next on ABC's This Week to talk about President Roosevelt's incompetence is Emperor Hirohito..."
Keep up the "journalism," ABC News.
