New York Attorney General Letitia James has now been indicted on a charge of mortgage fraud. That's the same person who campaigned for office on repeated promises of getting Trump and possibly putting him in jail:

Earlier this week I wrote about Politico and their take on the indictment of James Comey and how it could set a bad Justice Department precedent. They are among media outlets that clearly want us to believe that history didn't start until January 20th, 2021.
Well, Politico is back at it with this gem:
Trump has long called for imprisoning his opponents. For the first time, he has a Justice Department willing to do his bidding.

You'll notice that these "journalists" never entertain one possibility: That some actual wrongdoing might have occurred. Instead we get this spin:
Indeed, alleged mortgage problems have become a favorite cudgel for the administration. The Justice Department is believed to be investigating Schiff over mortgages on two properties.
There's Trump "pouncing" again! The story even features a quote from Schiff, a serial liar.
Well, if the charges are indeed bogus then James should have nothing to worry about, right?

A Federal Grand Jury indicted Letitia James for mortgage fraud.
A jury of her peers concluded that there is sufficient evidence to prove that she broke the law.
Did Politico sound any alarms when James was vowing to "get" Trump and his family?

One Politico story about James suing Trump in 2022 is simply titled, "Tish James just sued Trump, but they've been at it for years." That's just a little different than how they're framing things these days.

As usual, if you want to know what a Democrat is probably up to, just pay attention to what they're accusing their political opposition of doing. All while outlets like Politico go right along with them.
