AP Reports Trump's Secure Border Has Wrecked a Bustling Economy Biden Created (Guess Where)

As we told you earlier, CNN caught some attention over the weekend with a story in which they asked a drug cartel member how he felt about the Trump administration categorizing them as terrorists. CNN also asked the cartel member if he had anything he wanted to say to Trump.

The Associated Press has been spotted getting in on that "the real victims of Trump's border and drug cartel crackdown" action with a piece about how the current administration has ruined a bustling economy that Biden, Harris and Mayorkas created near the Colombia/Panama border:

When the Democrats say Trump's destroying the economy, this is the "economy" they're referring to.

The face of U.S. President Donald Trump flashes on the flat-screen TV that Luis Olea bought with the money he earned ferrying migrants through the remote Panamanian jungle during an unprecedented crush of migration.

The Darien Gap, a stretch of nearly impenetrable rain forest along the border with Colombia, was transformed into a migratory highway in recent years as more than 1.2 million people from around the world traveled north toward the United States.

They brought an economic boom to areas that are hours, even days, from towns or mobile phone signal. Migrants paid for boat rides, clothing, meals and water after grueling and often deadly treks.

[...]

Then the money vanished. After Trump took office in January and slashed access to asylum in the U.S. , migration through the Darien Gap virtually disappeared. The new economy bottomed out, and residents newly dependent on it scrambled for options.

How many stories has the AP published about how many lives will be saved because Trump has secured the border and is deporting criminal illegals?

Absolutely.

At the end of the AP's story is yet another reminder of why the U.S. should not elect another Democrat president:

“I’m going to save them for whatever comes,” she said, with future U.S. administrations in mind. “When another government enters, you never know what opportunities there will be.”

That helpful reminder should be in a Republican ad in 2028.
