“60 Minutes” aired a hit piece on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis last night, and they’re getting hammered over editing to remove context and other omissions.
How bad was it? The Daily Caller tweeted a video showing what was said vs. what “60 Minutes” chose to air:
WATCH: CBS and @60Minutes excluded context from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in which he explains the steps his government took to make the decision to partner with Publix on vaccine distribution.
The 60 Minutes version is first, followed by the full answer from DeSantis. pic.twitter.com/2KRQKPLOe7

There’s that modern-day “journalism” again.
Wow. Talk about deceptive editing by @60minutes – damning. https://t.co/rXQbAKDiAD

Figures. CBS' new tagline should be "CBS: Where you'll not only SEE B.S., you'll HEAR it too!"

This is remarkably damning. One of the most absurdly misleading 60 Minutes clips I’ve ever seen. https://t.co/i9vsC49LIR

The media has long understood how selective editing can be super effective in crafting a narrative. The fact that @60Minutes is going through such efforts to try to make Florida’s governor look bad is in reaction to how well he’s done. They cannot allow him to be effective. https://t.co/Y3eFyHkVni

Absolutely disgusting what @60minutes did here.@TwitterSafety should demand a retraction or suspend 60 Minutes for this disgusting misinformation that affects public health. https://t.co/n291eSglFb

How embarrassing for the 60 Minutes team.

So many in the media seem incapable of feeling shame.
