Well, the Mueller report has been released and Trump is still in the White House. Let’s check in with Bette Midler to see how things are going:
It’s been only two years and we are looking at a world that is nearly unrecognizable, with a population as downhearted as it has ever been. We have to fight, but we need energy to do it, and we have been sucked nearly dry by the Vampire in the White House. Take a breath. Again.

It’s a very difficult time to be a super-rich liberal entertainer. Our best to Bette.
Those Hollywood cocktail parties really must be a drag these days

Can you imagine?
I actually see a lot of happy people who are making more money, finding jobs, investing in their communities, feeling safer … maybe it’s time to get out of NYC and look around at the entire country. Step out of your bubble. Breathe.

It’s gonna be a long 6 years for you, Bette. Take up a hobby and see a shrink.

I had no idea The Walking Dead was filmed live in NYC.
The rest of the country is doing just fine hun. ?
I recommend a trip to West Virginia or Texas and get away from your bubble.
Happiness will come back. https://t.co/u9VTamliPF

According to an Architectural Digest article published at the end of 2016, Midler had a pretty nice looking Penthouse apartment on 5th Avenue, and we’re guessing the view hasn’t gotten too much worse in the last two-plus years.
