HMM: Janet Napolitano's excuse for UC audit interference sounds VERY familiar

Former Homeland Security Director and current President of the University of California system, Janet Napolitano, has been accused of mismanagement after a state audit:

Released two weeks ago, the audit slammed UC’s Office of the President for systematically overcharging campuses to fund its operations, spending excessively on employee compensation and secretly stashing $175 million for presidential initiative, even as the university’s governing board recently voted to raise tuition for the first time in six years.

Napolitano has also been accused of attempting to interfere in the state’s audit:

No “intent”? That sounds awfully familiar for some reason:

Perhaps Napolitano’s hoping that excuse keeps her out of legal trouble as well.
