Oh the irony! Homebrew Hillary campaign accuses Trump of inviting foreign espionage

During a press conference today in Miami, Florida, Donald Trump was criticized by many after saying this:

“It would be interesting to see, I will tell you this, Russia, if you’re listening I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” the Republican nominee said at a news conference in Florida. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

Trump supporter Newt Gingrich said the GOP nominee was joking but the Trump campaign was more vague about it:

The Clinton campaign jumped on Trump’s comments, accusing him of inviting a threat to national security:
