During her interview with CNN, Hillary Clinton claimed that she “never had a subpoena” from the House to turn over emails from her private server during her tenure as secretary of state. House Republicans later produced a subpoena that was sent to Hillary in early March of this year. In other words, Hillary lied.
In an apparent attempt to avoid admitting the obvious, Politico took the same approach as MSNBC:
The war of words between Hillary Clinton and Trey Gowdy over her email practices is seriously heating up http://t.co/89Xy0aGaQK

“War of words” eh? Nice try, Politico.
Oh, Politico. Hillary lied. There is no moral equivalency here. Shame on you for calling this a "war of words" https://t.co/1Sja9d8vpI

Gowdy proves Hillary lied on CNN, so now it's a "war of words" https://t.co/6lNSqw4OvK

Lapdog-tastic!
@politico Gowdy produced the subpoena Hillary lied about never receiving.
That is a fact. There's no gray area here.

You act as if there is some kind of factual dispute here, @politico.
But there isn't.
Re-write the story and the headline. Now.

It was discovered that a Republican candidate was offered no such “war of words” benefit of the doubt:
@politico Hillary caught lying is a mere disagreement, but you had no problem with the L-word here: https://t.co/g3dctX4SUI

Not surprising.
There’s only one question left:
Did you report this piece to the FEC as an in kind contribution to the Hillary Clinton campaign? https://t.co/WKNUaaoL9L
