There was a shooting outside of a high school football game in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, on Friday night, and both Gov. Tim Walz and Sen. Amy Klobuchar have come out calling the gun violence completely unacceptable.
State officials are assisting local authorities to find those responsible after a shooting outside the Eden Prairie football game.

No homecoming, in any community, should be disrupted by gun violence. Minnesotans are keeping students and families in our thoughts tonight.
Violence like the shooting last night in Eden Prairie is completely unacceptable. Parents shouldn’t have to worry about their kids’ safety when they go to a homecoming game and as a former prosecutor, I know how critical it is to support law enforcement and take action to protect…

"… Minnesotans from violence."
Townhall's Dustin Grage is “the Minnesota guy with the receipts,” and he suspects that Somali gangs were involved. It was just a couple of months ago when Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison hoped that two rival Somali gangs would abide by an injunction keeping them in a "safety zone" at the Minnesota State Fair. There had been online chatter about "the biggest battle of the summer" being planned by the Somali “Ville” and “Muddy” gangs.
Nobody ever flinches when Somali gangs open fire outside an event in Minneapolis.

Their voters have accepted decline.
But this time, it happened outside a game between two of the wealthiest suburban cities in the state, and they’re actually pissed.

Law enforcement sources again confirm Somali gangs are responsible for tonight's shooting at the Eden Prairie game. https://t.co/Zjy9PHba0X

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer weighed in, and his take was a little different from Walz's and Klobuchar's:
Of course the Eden Prairie football game shooting was another Somali gang crime. Will anyone in the Minnesota media - other than @AlphaNews - tell Minnesotans the truth? Or are they too concerned about being politically correct? It’s not racist to call out Somali gang violence.…

The post continues:
… Somali gangs are terrorizing our communities and putting our children’s lives at risk. @FBIDirectorKash is on it and understands the threat, but Minnesota’s local and state leaders continue to do NOTHING. It’s about damn time Walz, Flanagan, Ellison, and their local DFL lackeys get off their backsides and do something.
Walz enjoyed a good ratio for his gun violence post:
You forgot the Somali gang gun violence part. What an absolute clown you are.

Most events in MN under your leadership are interrupted by gunfire.

You mean the Somali gang fight that turned into a shooting, right Tampon Tim?
— Scott McKay (@TheHayride) October 3, 2026
Wonder why you left that detail out?
It’s the gangs, not the guns, and that’s on you
— Jeff O'Brien (@jeffobrien) October 3, 2026
You always jump right to the guns. Who did it?

Your state has serious problems.
One quick clue to help in the hunt… they look like Somalians.

Somali gangs. Say it, Timmy.
— Kathy Lehner (@LehnerKath) October 3, 2026
No mention of Somali gang involvement. You are allowing playing with words and looking the other way when the narrative is inconvenient.
— Hey Skol Sister (@Angelina738738) October 3, 2026
The people who imported the Somali gangs knowing this would happen are "those responsible" for the out of control Somali violence.
— @theyreallgone (@SadMuskateer) October 3, 2026
This was gang violence committed by Somali youth. Individuals brought and used guns outside this event. If you don’t call out the issue, you’re not addressing the problem

There. I fixed it.
Just talked to my sister who was at the game. She said 100-150 Somalians rushed the stands and started causing an issue. Fights broke out. We have a huge Somali gang problem in this state and the democrats do absolutely nothing about it.
— BTT (@BttBig) October 3, 2026
It was literally Somali gangs
— Av Michal אביגיל מיכל (@avygal) October 3, 2026
Get the Somali gangs under control and stop lying to our faces and saying they aren’t a problem
We have eyes
Jesus, dude. We already know. We’re all just laughing watching you guys fall all over yourselves trying not to say it out loud. You’re like a dude that can’t admit your wife is having an affair while she’s going at it with your neighbor Dave in the middle of a block party.

Muddy or The Ville?

Can't Peggy wear her Muslim hijab and make peace and unity with the gangs so they don't have to evacuate football games?

Aren’t you friends with school shooters?

Walz considers all Minnesotans friends and neighbors and the fabric of the community. It's a mystery who could be behind this.
