The U.S. Senate is set to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer had this to say ahead of the vote:

Three Republicans will vote in favor of Judge Jackson’s confirmation, and Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois really appreciates the GOPers who “rose above the partisan fray”:

Did Sen. Durbin praise Joe Manchin for “rising above the partisan fray”? Of course not. “Political courage” is always a one-way street.

When it comes to Mitt Romney, he was against Judge Jackson before he was for her, much to the delight of Democrats.

A few days ago this was how Sen. Romney let everybody know that he intended to make the Democrats happy:

Did that surprise anybody?
