Yesterday, after Jen Psaki doubled down on the White House’s need to stay in contact with social media companies to help them root out “misinformation,” President Biden accused Facebook and other Big Tech of “killing people”:

After that, Facebook fired back:
JUST IN: @Facebook responds to Biden (“They’re killing people”) re: COVID misinformation: “The facts show Facebook is helping save lives. Period.”

FACEBOOK: “We will not be distracted by accusations which aren’t supported by the facts. The fact is that more than 2 billion people have viewed authoritative information about COVID-19 and vaccines on Facebook, which is more than any other place on the internet.” … (1/2)

In sum:
+ The President of the United States has accused the world’s most powerful social media network of “killing people” by not doing enough to combat misinformation.
+ The company has responded by accusing the president of missing vaccine goals & passing the buck.

It’s somewhat ironic that after all the help Facebook and other social media outlets provided the Democrats (in the form of banning or suspending those accused of spreading narratives unhelpful to the Left — the NY Post’s suspension for publishing the factual Hunter Biden story for example) that the U.S. president still didn’t hesitate to accuse them of “killing people.”
Biden Arguing with Facebook is ironic considering Facebook and all other media platforms covered for him and carried him to the White House. Biden saying Facebook is killing people. Just incredible.

Oh the irony. #Facebook bans Trump while #Biden slams Facebook for killing people and #Psaki wants censorship.
